    Built from premium Baltic birch, all parts are hand-sanded with rounded edges. The Floor Bed is coated with a water-based clear satin top coat, making it smooth to the touch, easy to clean, and built to last!

Note: Bed slats (mattress supports) are left unfinished (raw wood) for both Toddler and Twin versions.

Very responsive to my questions. Item was listed as in stock and it was shipped quickly. Nicely packaged. Easy to install. Quality material and instead of screwing into wood you are screwing into metal fasteners, makes a big difference on sturdiness and being able to disassemble and reassemble for a future child or passing it along to another family. Having CNC slots to seat the wood pieces also adds to the sturdiness. Being able to put together the 3 sub assemblies and then bringing each upstairs to put them together was an added bonus. I also like that the 4 sides do not sit flush with the floor giving some air flow underneath. I have assembled other Montessori beds in the style which have the vertical slats all around and this is far superior. Do not hesitate to buy from Halle's Corner.
