Welcome to Halle's Corner! Here are answers to the questions we get most often. If yours isn't here, send us a message. We're a small family business, and a real person (usually David) will write back.
1. What makes Halle's Corner different?
We're one family designing and building everything ourselves in Northwest Arkansas. Every piece starts as a problem we ran into with our daughter, Halle, and she tests every design at home before it goes up for sale. There's no outside factory and no middleman, which helps us keep our prices fair.
2. What is your furniture made of?
Our furniture and toys are made from furniture-grade Baltic birch. Every edge is rounded over and hand-sanded, and each piece is coated with a water-based clear satin finish that's smooth to the touch and easy to wipe clean.
3. What is a learning tower, and why would I want one?
A learning tower is a tall, enclosed step stool that brings your toddler up to counter height, so they can stir the batter, wash the strawberries, or just see what you're doing. Ours has two platform heights so it can grow with your child, and full back support for added stability. Always stay with your child while they're using it.
4. Do you offer personalized items?
Yes! Our step stools, Tonie shelves, balance boards, and the sign on our Market Stand can all be personalized with a name. On the step stools and Tonie shelves, the name is engraved into the wood and painted in the color you choose. We keep these pieces in stock and add the name after, so personalization doesn't slow down your order.
5. How long will it take to get my order?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days, and our floor beds ship within 1–5 business days. We ship with UPS Ground, which usually takes 3–5 business days. Shipping is free on every order. See our Shipping & Delivery page for details.
6. Do you ship outside the United States?
Not right now. We currently ship only within the United States.
7. Will I need to put it together?
Some pieces need assembly, and some arrive ready to use (like our step stools). When assembly is needed, everything is included: the hardware, any tools you'll need, and step-by-step instructions.
8. Does the floor bed come with a mattress?
No, the floor bed is the frame only. It comes in toddler (crib-size mattress) and twin sizes. The slats are left as raw wood.
9. Will your Tonie shelves work with the Toniebox 2?
Yes. Most of our Tonie shelves and displays come in versions for both the original Toniebox and the Toniebox 2, so just choose yours when you order. Our Toniebox 2 Storage Display is made specifically for the Toniebox 2.
10. How do I care for my Halle's Corner piece?
Wipe it down with a soft, damp cloth. Skip harsh cleaners, which can wear down the finish over time.
